Welcome to the heart of Thimble Creek. This is where our whole story began: a life-long journey of blending the hands-on reality of building a home and working the land here in Central Maine with the intentional design of a professional creative agency. We believe that clarity, craftsmanship, and a clear vision are the blueprint for building anything worthwhile—be it a brand identity or a life we are proud of.
About
The place that felt like home
They say that home is a person, and for Michelle and Joe, that has always been true. Our journey—bringing together Michelle’s San Diego mountain roots and Joe’s lifelong connection to Central Maine—has always felt less like a compromise and more like finding our true north.
When Michelle first walked these 56 acres back in 2018 (while they were still owned by Joe’s parents), we both felt an undeniable, instant calm. It was more than just land; it felt like our future. We actually began planning our wedding here years before the deed was officially in our names, scouting locations and hand-building a ceremony site with the dream of one day saying “I do” under these very trees.
After three years of dreaming and intentional planning, we officially purchased the land in 2021, fully committing to the life we are designing together. This was the moment our Thimble Creek journey truly took root.

Rooted in Legacy
Our dream to be married on our land became a reality right here! The commitment we made under the Moongate, custom-built by Michelle’s father, was the culmination of a year of hard work with the help of friends and family. It was only fitting that we cemented our family’s future here, especially since the name Thimble Creek honors Michelle’s beloved maternal grandmother. This land is now the official heart of our family, where our history meets our intentional future.
The commitment we put into transforming our ceremony space didn’t end with the wedding—it was just the beginning. That dramatic transformation in the before-and-after photos is the same energy we put into every season here on the farm. Since officially purchasing the property in 2021, every day is dedicated to progress. While Joe manages the hands-on work—planting new Christmas trees, focusing on maple sugaring, and leading the physical house build—Michele is the one leading the creative services, documenting the planning phase, dreaming of homesteading projects, and sharing all the lessons learned. The farm is our constant reminder that clear vision, thoughtful design, and quality execution are key to building anything worthwhile, whether it’s a home or a brand.

From 2021 to Today: Growing Our Life
Since officially taking ownership of the land in 2021, our life has rooted and grown here with tremendous intention. The farm is always in motion: we’ve already planted over 400 Christmas trees and continue to plant 150 more each year, and every spring we tap our maples for pure Maine syrup. Most wonderfully, our two beautiful boys feel completely at home on this property. Now, we are preparing to take the next major leap by breaking ground on our forever home in the spring of 2026.
Our future here is guided by our intention to homestead and truly slow life down. Beyond the house, we plan to establish lavender and medicinal flower fields, and eventually, introduce farm animals. Above all, our purpose is clear: to teach our children that with hard work and a life built with intention, anything is possible.
